Honoring the 55th Anniversary of the Historic Son Tay Raid
The Son Tay Raid reunion was held November 20 – November 21, 2025. It is the final reunion of these warriors who redefined joint-service operation. The National Ranger Memorial Foundation was honored to host this event.
The Son Tay Raid was an astonishing act of valor during the Vietnam War.
In November 1970, elite soldiers from the United States Army, Air Force, and Navy executed a daring nighttime mission deep inside North Vietnam to rescue American POWs.
Though the prisoners had been moved, the operation stood as a flawless display of courage, precision, & joint force coordination.
This mission became the definitive model for modern special operations & one of the most heroic operations in U.S. military history.
