Our Humble Beginnings
In a humble mess hall, two anonymous Rangers sketched an idea on a napkin, a simple thought that would later turn into a monumental testament to their bravery and dedication. This sketch, though modest in its origin, embodied a vision to honor the contributions of Rangers across generations.
It was this vision that sparked the creation of the National Ranger Monument, a symbol of respect and acknowledgment for those who have dedicated their lives to safeguarding our nation.

How We Evolved
The journey from a napkin sketch to a national monument was not an easy one, but it was driven by the unwavering determination to honor our Rangers. Over the years, the National Ranger Memorial Foundation has grown from its initial concept into a powerful body committed to preserving the legacy of Rangers.
The Ranger Monument stands today as a testament to this journey, evolving into one of the most visited military sites on Fort Benning, Georgia, and serving as the focal point for Ranger activities, family visits, and commemorative events.
The Mission
The National Ranger Memorial Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to its’ primary objective of preserving and maintaining the National Ranger Memorial, located at Ft. Benning, GA. The Ranger Memorial is a testament to the history and legacy of the U.S. Army Rangers-past, present and future. In addition to our main mission, the NRMF also provides college scholarships for Rangers-active duty/retried and their family members..
Our commitment extends beyond the monument itself; we strive to support our Rangers and their families in tangible ways, from scholarships to various support initiatives. It is through this mission that we hope to preserve the legacy of our nation’s Rangers, ensuring their bravery and dedication are never forgotten.
