National Ranger Memorial Foundation Awards $50,000 in Scholarships to Rangers and Their Families via the Kenneth C. Leuer/Joseph S. Stringham National Ranger Memorial Scholarship Program

FORT BENNING, GA — The National Ranger Memorial Foundation proudly announced that 66 scholarships totaling $50,000 were awarded to U.S. Army Rangers and their family members through the Kenneth C. Leuer/Joseph S. Stringham National Ranger Memorial Scholarship Program. The awards were presented during a special ceremony held at the Ranger Memorial on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

This year’s scholarship recipients represent the strength, dedication, and legacy of the Ranger community. The awards are part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting the educational goals of Rangers and their loved ones—past, present, and future.

Since the program’s inception in 1992, the Foundation has awarded a total of $925,000 in scholarships, made possible by the generous support of donors, sponsors, and the extended Ranger family.

“Our recipients are an extraordinary group of individuals who embody the Ranger spirit,” said Brigadier General (Retired) Larry Burris, Chairman of the National Ranger Memorial Foundation. “We are proud to support them in their academic pursuits and are deeply grateful to the donors and supporters who make this program possible. I encourage everyone who values the Ranger legacy to support the work of the Foundation so we can continue to honor our past and invest in our future.”

In addition to the scholarship program, the Foundation’s core mission remains to maintain and preserve the National Ranger Memorial located at Fort Benning, Georgia—ensuring that the service and sacrifice of all who have earned the Ranger Tab are never forgotten.
